THE AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION MINISTERS' 2010 BIENNIAL FORUM

The Australian Education Ministers' 2010 Biennial Forum took place at the Australian Parliament House, Canberra on Friday 15 October 2010.

Under the theme of 'Education for the future - improving student learning and school performance', presenters from across Australia showcased innovative and creative best-practice initiatives that are improving student outcomes, transforming schools and the education environment into the future.

At www.schoolsforum2010.edu.au you can find over 35 presentations that will be available on the site from the day of the forum. In addition to the presentations on the day, information about other successful initiatives being delivered across Australia can be found on the Forum's page at http://www.schoolsforum2010.edu.au/pages/participate.html

Schools, education systems and governments across Australia are working collaboratively to ensure that young people are equipped to meet the challenges of an increasingly global society.

Take this opportunity to hear from educators across Australia about what they are doing to improve student learning and school performance in a wide range of educational settings.

The Australian Education Ministers' 2010 Biennial Forum is hosted by the Australian Government on behalf of the Ministerial Council for Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs.
